VICTORIAN PICKLE CASTOR WITH HINGED LID AND HANDLE 13" TALL

Victorian pickle castor with hinged lid and handle--  13 inches tall--  lid mechanically opens when handle is pushed back--  the platform raised on four ball feet--  decorated avian, floral, and cameo motifs--  etched ruby red glass--  highly ornate plated tongs hang right side of castor--  no chips or cracks to glass-- no markings on bottom of castor--  castor does have a small piece missing at tip of piece that catches the handle when pushed back please note pictures 3 and 5--  the piece that catches the handle is still long enough to catch handle--   otherwise castor is perfect and displays well--  could use a bit a cleaning to really bring out beauty of ornate details--  please ask questions if you have any
