  • Condition: This is a vintage item that has been on the wall in our home since 1968. I took a photo from every angle so you can see the exact condition. My dad's name is on the plaque. It's not included in this listing but I added a photo of his return from the war.

    Description

    Supposedly this squadron was of special note because of the cool skull and crossbones logo.  The pilots were involved in intense conflicts such as Red River.  My dad made it back to the carrier with a basketball-sized hole in his fuselage after that horrid outing and only drops of fuel remaining in the tank.
