    Description

For sale a unique 1936 Berlin Olympics original ticket. These Olympics represented a controversial time when the Nazis were rising to power under Adolf Hitler. USA track star Jesse Owens stole the show, from Hitler, by capturing 4 gold medals. Finishing 2nd, to Owens, in the 200 meters, was America's Mack Robinson, the older brother of Jackie Robinson. On the women's side, was sensational 18 yr-old sprinter Helen Stephens, who captured gold in the100 meters and the 4 X 100 relay. This ticket is not from an actual sporting event. From my research, this was a supplementary, auxiliary ticket. Zustatz-Karte means "additional card." Nur Gultig Gemass Besonderer Bekanntgabe translates to " Only valid to the extent of special announcement."  These appear rarer than more prevalent event tickets. I generally don't get items graded, as I have collected long before grading services entered the scene. This ticket is in solid shape, no rips, creases, or damage. From my research, I understand that only 2 of these Zustatz-Karte tickets have ever been graded. Buyer to pay safe & secure tracked shipping. I will combine shipping, whenever possible.
