This was a make ready test print for this event at the Historic Ryman Auditorium & printed by Hatch Show Print on antique letterpress and originally aquired at former location at 316 Broadway in downtown Nashville, TN. It does not have Hatch Show Print or year at bottom like most posters sold today at venues as this was a test run. Pieces in this era were typically printed for Advertisement and posted on telephone poles or placed in record stores and store fronts to promote the artist and advertise the show.
#1/1 Refers to only one like this in existence as it is a make ready test print.

Hatch Show Prints are printed on Antique Printing Press with hand carved woodblock, linoleum & metal block plates. They are hand inked and hand pulled for each color by the artist/designer for that project. This Poster was created by Hatch Artist Mike Frederick but his name is NOT printed anywhere on poster, as this was a test print.
The elaborately carved Woodblock Roses/flowers was created by Hatch employee JoAnnah Mahan in 1985 and this Woodblock was originally used for Emmylou Harris Advertisement Poster For "The Ballad of Sally Rose" at The Kennedy Center Hall, Washington, DC
