A rare piece of jewelry ,used to be worn by women routinely on the ankle until may be the 1900's, called "khokhal". Total weight 90 grams,80 % silver, very large. Bedouin jewelery, made and worn by nomadic people in North Africa. Primitive. Arabic letters on both ends (maker or craftsman?). Has two small cracks at ends on the inside, appear to be made on purpose to allow expanding and shrinking.
