HAMMARLUND HQ-145C

Description

For Sale is a very clean Hammarlund HQ-145C receiver. It is by far the cleanest radio I have had come in in a long time. The cabinet is in very good condition as is the Face Plate. The printing is clean and clear on both front and rear. The chassis is very clean with only minor spotting in a few places. The radio powers up, the lights work and sound is heard when a speaker is hooked up. (not included) Signals have been heard on the broadcast band. The following preliminary work has been done: a new 3 wire grounded cord and strain relief has been added as has a fuse. It has a new Filter Capacitor from Hayseed Hamfest and a SO-239 connector has been added in addition to the original antenna terminals. The clock works and has been serviced and fitted with a new clean face and lens. This will make a fine addition to any collection with some additional work needed to make it fully operational. Also included is a very nice bound copy of the manual. Don't pass up this fine example of Hammarlund Radio. It for sale in CONUS only. As with all older electronics, it is for sale  as-is with no returns accepted. This is a heavy radio, shipping cost reflects weight and size.
