    Description

    Bank Check on the Fall Brook Railway Company, Corning, NY.  Signed by the Treasurer Jnos Lang drawn on Leather Manufacturers National Bank, for  ,125 which was a lot of money back then.  Nice steel engraved vignette of man.  Probably the president of that railroad.  Such steel engravings were extremely expensive to make.  But they were a determent to counterfeiting these checks.    2 3/4 by 7 1/2 inches.
