    Description

    Bank Check on Cayuga County Bank of Auburn, NY, dated 4 Oct. 1860 made out to Rick Morgans by Edwin P. Morgans for .65.  Back is endorse four times showing the check was passed like money from one person to another.  2 1/2 by 6 1/4 inches.  All coins were hoarded and disappeared during the Civil Way.  So checks functioned as money and circulated.
