    Description

    1964 Tokyo Olympics VIP Seiko Clock in beautiful working condition..presented to VIP guests at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.  Clock has been newly cleaned and serviced (proof receipt supplied).  It has a gold plate case with sliding lid revealing white dial with Seiko at the top with the Olympic Torch and bottom of the dial is marked 2 Jewels-Japan.  The clock is a 30 hour movement with an alarm and is 2 3/8" across and 1 1/2" thick.  Around the clock is a band of ancient Greek athletic figures carved in relief.  It is surprisingly heavy!  A booklet of souvenir 1964 Tokyo Olympic stamps is also included.  Seiko was the official timer for the Olympics for many years.  An example of this very clock is displayed in the Seiko Museum in Japan.
